Simple Sympathy Card

This is another simple card I whipped up. I can honestly say that I really don't like making these types of cards. I kept it simple. I used the Shimmery White CS, and a few layers, and I wrote a personal message inside.

Manly Birthday Card

I love the simple layout of this card. Just by changing the colors and the image, you can create any kind of card.

Layouts for the April Scrapbooking group

Brrrrrr.......It is so cold out there today! I am not a big fan of winter.

I have really enjoyed designing these layouts for the April Scrapbooking group, especially because they are spring themed....I been getting hopeful for warmer weather.

Please feel free to leave a comment if you are interested in finding out more about joining a scrapbooking group.

Still con't!

Family Album con't

Hope everyone has survived the "big" snowstorm. I always enjoy a good snowstorm!
Todays post is a long one! I made an album of the family for my mother-in-law for Christmas, so I thought I would share. I used the Botanical Gazette DP and Nature Walk stamp from the Occasions Mini. I made the paper roses, and the ribbon and embellishments are from the Idea Book & Catalogue. I have blurred out the faces on the pictures for privacy reasons.

Sneek Peak at Aprils Scrapbooking Group

Here is a tease of what's to come!

Scrapbooking Trial Class

Hey ladies, my scrapbook layouts are complete and so it's time to get the ball rolling!

I am offering 3 double page layouts for our "trial run".

You have the option to 1,2 or 3 of the layouts. You will pay $20 for the first one, and $10 for each layout after that. I ask that you please bring cash with you, no checks.

When you reply, please be sure to tell me which layouts you would like to do. This is a one time class, and from here will choose whether or not you would like to commit to a group. The layouts for the April group will be ready, and you will choose which layouts you want for April then. I will also answer any questions about the scrapbook group, along with giving more details about the group.

I thought we would do the "trail run" on Friday February 11th, 7pm here at my house. Please allow about 1 hour for each layout.

Don't hesitate to contact me if something doesn't make sense.

Please visit my demonstrator page for the layouts.

Feel free to reach me by email if you interested. dianewatts51@yahoo.ca

Spooky Haunted House!

It has been so long since my last post or class for that matter, but I like to think I'm back! Things have just been so busy around here. It doesn't help that I am a perfectionist, so it takes me forever to complete my projects.

We have so many new products, I just had to get my hands on them. I'm posting today for 2 Halloween classes. They will both run on Friday October 8th. I know its Thanksgiving weekend, but I am running out of time. Sadly enough, I had originally planned to post these classes at the beginning of September. Better late then never! As I was saying, the "Spooky Banner" will run at 6:30pm and the "Haunted House" will run at 8:30pm. I will have everything prepared so that you should only need 2 hours to assemble your projects. Feel free to attend either class, or stay and do both. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot asap! The cost for the "Spooky Banner" class is 25.00, and the cost for the "Haunted House" class is 28.00. Sign up for both and pay only 50.00. Please notify me to reserve your spot by Thursday September 30th.

Can't make the class? Get together a group of 5 or more, and I will bring the class to you! Contact me to make arrangements.

I am so happy with how both projects turned out. I just love our new little chipboard house!

Hope to see you on October the 8th.

As usual, Its been a long time since my last post. The days fly by while life happens. On with the post! This page is one of my most favorite to date. This layout was entirely based on the invitation that I made for Tanners 2nd birthday. We had a pirate party. The patterned pirate paper in the background, I made. I took a sheet of Very Vanilla, stamped the pirate all around the edges and then colored them in. I then took a sponge and Close to Coca ink and Chocolate Chip ink, and sponged all over, especially around the edges, to give it a worn look.

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Ahoy Matey
Card Stock: Groom Specialty Paper, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Very Vanilla.
Ink: Basic Black and Chocolate Chip and Close to Coca for sponging.
Accessories: Clear Buttons, Silver Elastic Cord, Black Brads, Sponges, and Cricut for the lettering.
